If you’re a health conscious person, I am going to go ahead and apologize to you for the nature of this post. (Though if you follow my blog you know that I tend to steer away from anything green and prefer to share things like this cake and these cookies.)
Bacon + Brown Sugar = pure deliciousness that tastes like candy in your mouth.
8 pieces of sliced bacon
1/2 – 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
what to do:
line a baking sheet with parchment paper. set a rack on top. set aside.
put your brown sugar in a pan or dish long enough to accommodate your bacon.
pat your bacon dry, dredge in brown sugar and place on your rack.
place the baking sheet into a cold oven and turn your oven on to 350°
after 15 minutes flip your bacon. at this point continue to check on your bacon, the last thing you want is for it to burn
my bacon usually takes 20-25 minutes
when it’s done, let your bacon cool on a rack to crisp up.
